Scheduled Maintenance

TLS 1.1 end of support Apr 16, 2025 09:00-10:00 CEST

Update - We will be undergoing scheduled maintenance during this time.
Feb 13, 2025 - 15:15 CET
Scheduled - Dear Customers,

To ensure the highest levels of security and reliability, we are updating our infrastructure by removing outdated protocols that no longer meet modern standards.

This upgrade reflects our commitment to staying at the forefront of industry best practices, protecting your data, and delivering state-of-the-art services.

What is changing?

This update applies only to V3 API and APP. V2 is not impacted.

To maintain a high level of security, we will remove the support of security protocol TLS 1.1 from our infrastructure. This means that older and less secure cipher suites will no longer be supported.

The following cipher suites will remain supported:

TLSv1.2:

- TLS_ECDHE_RSA_WITH_AES_128_GCM_SHA256
- TLS_ECDHE_RSA_WITH_AES_256_GCM_SHA384
- TLS_ECDHE_RSA_WITH_CHACHA20_POLY1305_SHA256

TLSv1.3:

- TLS_AKE_WITH_AES_128_GCM_SHA256
- TLS_AKE_WITH_AES_256_GCM_SHA384
- TLS_AKE_WITH_CHACHA20_POLY1305_SHA256

How are you impacted?

Starting April 16, 2025, these older components will be disabled on our side. Any connections using weak cipher suites will be refused.

To avoid any disruption, it is essential that you ensure your systems and applications are compatible with modern cipher suites.

What action do you need to take?

To help you get prepared, we’ve set up a test environment so you can verify your compatibility.

You can access this environment from this URL : https://ciphers-test.yousign.app

For API Users :

- Identify your integration team or provider and ask them to verify your compatibility with modern cipher suites.
- Ask them to reach our test URL from your integration confirm that it returns a valid response.

For APP Users :

Ensure your are using a modern operating system and up-to-date browser and open the test URL mentioned above to check compatibility.

- If you can successfully reach the page, your system is compatible, no actions needed.
- If you cannot access the page, this means your system uses old components and should be updated. We kindly recommend checking with your IT team to ensure your system is using the latest versions for optimal security.

For detailed instructions on testing our new infrastructure and additional technical information, please refer to the dedicated page in the Help Center linked below.

How can you get additional assistance?

Thank you for your attention to this important update. Ensuring the security of your data is our top priority, and we appreciate your cooperation as we make these enhancements.

Best regards,

Mar 26, 12:32 CET
Identified - Since this morning, an error occurs when trying to activate a signature request with the API, in both Production and Sandbox environments.
Our technical team identified that the issue occurs when the header ‘Content-type’: ‘application/json’ is given without any body payload.
As a quick workaround, you can either remove this header, or keep this header and add {} in the body payload.
Our technical team is working on a fix.

Mar 24, 06:00 CET
Scheduled - Dear Users,

Our identity verification provider for Qualified Electronic Signature (QES) will perform a maintenance on their infrastructure.
The service will be completely interrupted during one hour leading to inability of performing video identifications for QES signatures during this period.

Note that QES signers using the Yousign Wallet for identification will not be affected.

Details of the intervention:
- Date: From 24th March 2025 at 6AM (Paris time) to 24th March 2025 at 7AM (Paris time)
- Expected impact: Yousign v3 QES video identification unavailable during the maintenance period. Any QES initiated before maintenance but not completed will be processed automatically once the maintenance is completed by our provider.

Thank you for your cooperation.
